Jamie Rhodes

Mr. Rhodes founded Central Texas Angel Network in 2006,In addition to his role with The Central Texas Angel Network, Mr. Rhodes founded Perceptive Sciences in 1999.
Over the past 7 years, Perceptive Sciences has grown to be recognized as one of the nation's top market research companies built on the use of cognitive psychology.
After many years of working with IBM, he entered the entrepreneurial arena as a founder of Traq-Wireless, a Sevin Rosen-funded start-up, focused on the telecom industry.
In addition to actively managing the day-to-day business of Perceptive Sciences, he has lent his expertise to other entrepreneurs.
With the support of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Rhodes founded the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN).
For his efforts he was awarded the Technology Volunteer of 2006 Award by the GACC.
Mr. Rhodes has a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Computer Science and a Master's degree in Business from The University of Texas.
He currently serves the State of Texas as a member of the Central Texas Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization (CT-RCIC), as both an advisory board member and a business plan reviewer.
