Jay Vomacka

Mr. Jaromir Vomacka, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Aeon Investment Management (Pty) Ltd.
He has over 10 years of investment experience.
He joined the firm in January 2013.
He focuses on the fundamental active equity, quantitative equity and the multi-asset class funds.
He is responsible for both the fundamental and quantitative investment analysis His entry into finance was a position at Centaur Asset Management developing and trading strategies as a quantitative and research analyst.
He then managed to start his own Johannesburg based hedge fund, Duality Systems (Pty) Ltd, managing an impressive performance record.
Due to its success and for expansionary reasons, the company was sold.
After relocation to Cape Town, he joined Aeon Investment Management in Cape Town.
He studied at the University of Witwatersrand to obtain a Masters in Industrial Engineering focusing on the financial aspects and management of organisations.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
