Jim Christensen

Mr. Jim Christensen is a State Chief Investment Officer at QIC Ltd.
He re-joined QIC in January 2016 as the Managing Director of the Global Multi-Asset Team.
Mr. Christensen is responsible for formulating and implementing the division’s business and investment strategies.
He will also be managing all multi-asset portfolios to ensure fiduciary accountabilities are executed effectively and investment objectives are exceeded in a sustainable manner.
This encompasses: risk management, asset allocation and portfolio construction, capital market and asset class research, and portfolio construction management across a widely diversified asset class range.
His role also incorporates the development of new products to deliver best in class commercial investment outcomes for existing and potential clients.
Previously, Mr. Christensen was Chief Investment Officer at Telstra Super.
He has successfully developed and executed investment strategies and solutions for institutional clients for more than two decades and has held senior investment roles within both the Government and Private sectors.
He is a graduate of the University of Queensland with degrees in Science and Economics and holds a Master's degree in Economics.
