Mr. John E.
Brabazon, CPA, is Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Savings Bank Life Insurance Co. of Massachusetts.

He began his career in 1987 at Ernst & Young in Boston, spending a majority of his time there serving various insurance companies.
He then held Vice President positions with increasing responsibilities at The Hanover Insurance Group, Manulife Financial, and Hartford Investment Management Company.
He had a wide array of responsibilities and accomplishments along the way, including internal audit, financial, and investment functions.
Mr. Brabazon is on the Board of Trustees at Milford Regional Medical Center, for which he serves as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee.
He has also been on the Board of Directors at Strata Bank, and is a past President of IASA’s Northeastern Chapter.
Mr. Brabazon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science in Banking and Financial Services at Boston University.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.
