Prior to joining KRG Capital Partners in 2000, Mr. Eakes worked in the Financial Sponsor Group at Banc of America Securities LLC from 1997 to 2000.
While at Banc of America Securities, Mr. Eakes participated in numerous transactions involving the senior financing of middle market leveraged buyouts.
In this capacity, he performed extensive due diligence, research, and financial analysis and was involved in the structuring, underwriting, and syndication of these transactions.
Prior to joining Banc of America Securities, he was a Sales Representative for Access International, Inc., a Chicago-based software development firm.
Mr. Eakes earned a BS in Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Kansas.
