Katy Young

Katy Yound joined Prelude Ventures in 2022 as its Chief Financial Officer, having previously been CFO for other private equity and venture capital firms.
Prior to becoming a CFO, she worked as an investment professional for Champlain Capital Partners and Putnam Investments.
Katy began her professional career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte.
She received her MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Katy also has a CPA license (Inactive).
