Lisa Smith

Ms. Smith has several years of experience in the medical device industry, primarily in the endoscopy, sports medicine and spine markets.
She spent more than 12 years at Stryker Corporation and held a variety of jobs increasing in responsibility in the areas of marketing, operations and business development.
While at Stryker Spine, she was responsible for all product acquisitions and vetted over 400 products and technologies.
She led the efforts for Stryker Corporation to acquire the rights to Spinecore, an artificial disc company, for $350M dollars.
After leaving Stryker, she founded a marketing and business development consulting business.
During the past two years, she has worked with several start-up and mid-cap spine and orthopedic companies.
She has led initiatives including fund raising, commercializing technology, strategy development and selling technology to mid-cap and large-cap orthopedic companies.
She currently sits on the Board of Transcorp, a spinal start-up company and Parcell Laboratories, a stem cell company.
Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arizona.
