He began working as a Financial Advisor at IDS Financial Services in 1993, and enjoyed a career of 25 years with the firm, presently known as Ameriprise Financial.
He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from Illinois State University in 1992, and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
In 1997, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation.
