Both of these funds were consistent first quartile performers during his time and were AAA-rated by S&P Fund Research.
In 1996, he became a member of the global emerging market policy committee, advising on the allocation of assets for Barings' global emerging market funds.
From 1991 to 1994, he worked for Coopers & Lybrand as an Auditor specialising in the financial services sector.
