Mr. Massimo Mazzini is a Head of Marketing & Business Development at Eurizon Capital SA. He is on the Board of Directors at Eurizon Capital SA. In August 2010, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Eurizon Capital S.A.
He spent the first five years of his career (1996-2001) with Arthur Andersen, specializing in risk management and asset management projects.
He then became Chief Investment Officer (CIO) responsible for development and management of hedge funds at CA AIPG SGR (2001-2005), and in December 2005, he was appointed CEO and CIO of CAAM AI SGR and CA AIPG SGR, Crédit Agricole Group's two alternative hedge fund management companies based in Milan.
In 2007, he became a member of the international executive committee of Crédit Agricole Alternative Investments and was appointed Deputy CIO of CAAM SGR with responsibility for the management of traditional products.
At the end of 2007, he joined Intesa Sanpaolo Group as CEO of Eurizon AI SGR, and CIO of the investment solutions area of Eurizon Capital SGR, in charge of managing products focused on asset-allocation processes, multi-manager funds, and structured/guaranteed funds for retail, private and institutional clients, a position he held until November 2009.
From November 2009 to June 2010, he was also CEO of Epsilon SGR.
Mr. Mazzini earned a degree in economics and commerce from Parma University.
