Matt Buckley

Mr. Buckley joined Montagu Newhall in December 2005.
Prior to joining Montagu Newhall, he was the Finance Principal at ABS Capital Partners, a private equity firm with over $1.5 billion under management, where he was responsible for managing the accounting group, tax planning and preparation, audits and the back-office systems.
As a result of his tenure in the private equity industry, Mr. Buckley has substantial experience in the areas of investor relations, portfolio company management and the interpretation and implementation of partnership agreement provisions.
He also worked at the public accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, primarily on the tax side, prior to finding his niche in the private equity industry.
Mr. Buckley received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola College of Maryland and his Masters in Science – Taxation from University of Baltimore.
He is a certified public accountant.
