Matt Lambert

Prior to joining Nation’s Best, Matt was raised in the store as a 3rd generation student of the Hardware & LBM Industry.
He recently served 12 years as the Location Manager of his family-owned home center, Lambert Lumber & Home Center, located in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Matt held roles in multiple levels of store operations beginning in the yard, working through load-building, yard management, stocking/inventory, sales, and contractor sales before reaching his tenure in location management.
After joining the Nation’s Best family of stores in 2019, as the first acquisition, Matt continued to serve as a store manager until January 2021 when he was given the opportunity to participate in a leadership role with the parent company as an Operations Leader.
As an Operations Leader Matt was responsible for the day-to-day operations of all locations in the Nation’s Best family of stores, working closely with Executive Leadership to manage 38 locations.
When the company re-structured in September 2022 Matt transitioned into a Regional Vice President role for the South-Central Region and is currently responsible for 14 Oklahoma and Texas locations.
In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family.
His 3 sons are his pride and joy and who he gives most of his free time too.
He is an active member of the Masonic Lodge, a charitable group that participates in millions of community service projects globally each year.
He also dedicates time to personal development and has great passion for coaching young leaders in our industry.
