Michael Viehs

Dr. Michael Viehs is a Managing Director & Global Head of Sustainable Investing at Partners Capital LLP.
He and his team are responsible for developing the firm’s sustainable investing strategy, integrating ESG considerations into Partners Capital’s investment processes and strengthening the firm’s thought leadership in the ESG space.
Dr. Viehs joined Partners Capital from Federated Hermes Limited, where he was Head of ESG Integration.
Prior to this, he was a researcher at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford, and is currently a part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences, Upper Austria.
He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc.
and Ph.D.
from Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands.
