Mike Gorin

Mr. Mike Gorin is a Principal at Impetus Capital LLC.
He left Arthur Andersen in 1980 to join Republic National Bank as Senior Vice President responsible for Administration.
In 1985, he joined Aeroflex Incorporated as Vice President - Finance and was later promoted to President and Chief Financial Officer and ultimately to Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer.
During his 20-year tenure with Aeroflex, its sales grew from $6 million to $463 million.
From 1986 to 2005, he was responsible for Aeroflex completing 18 acquisitions, as well as three dispositions of non-core businesses.
He retired from Aeroflex in 2005 and remained as a consultant through 2009.
Mr. Gorin has a B.B.A.
degree in accounting from Hofstra University, from which he graduated cum laude in 1963.
Upon graduation, he joined Arthur Andersen in their New York office as a staff accountant.
He received his CPA license in 1966 and received the Silver Medal for Excellence.
He was admitted as a Partner of Arthur Andersen in 1973 and served as the Managing Partner of the Small Business Division for both the New York City and Long Island offices.
