Mike R. Morgenstern

Mr. Morgenstern joins JumpStart with exceptional experience in strategic development, research, and multi-project management for non-profits in Northeast Ohio.
As Director of Development Services, he directs and provides advancement support for JumpStart’s innovative public/private partnerships.
This incorporates all services critical to donor relations, including strategic planning, grant identification and process compliance reporting, due diligence and stewardship communication, and principal gift management.
He comes to JumpStart from Oberlin College, where he was Director of Development Research and Senior Research Analyst.
He is likewise well-experienced with Northeast Ohio’s business and cultural communities.
He’s served as Research Administrator at the Western Reserve Historical Society, Associate Editor at Gray & Co., Publishers, and prior to that was Assistant Editor with the Encyclopedia of Cleveland History project.
Mr. Morgenstern has a BA in History from Purdue University, and an MA in Social Policy History from CWRU.
He serves on the board of the Ohio Prospect Research Network (OPRN), and is a member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA).
