Nicolas Burckhardt

Dr. Nicolas Burckhardt is a Head of Solutions Switzerland at Vontobel Asset Management AG.
Mr. Burckhardt heads the Global Fund Solutions Team and handles the Global Invest and Pension Invest Futura product lines.
From 2016 to 2019, he managed as a senior portfolio manager for Vontobel Asset Management's quantitative equity and multi-asset portfolios.
At Vescore, he was previously responsible for product management for quantitative multi-asset products.
From 2013 to 2015, he developed as a senior quantitative analyst the process and model landscape.
He began his professional career in 2006 as a research and teaching assistant at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen.
Mr. Burckhardt got a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, focusing on Financial and Capital Markets, and earned a Ph.D.
in Finance there.
His dissertation dealt with correlation models and their application in the currency markets.
