Patrick Lemmens

Patrick Lemmens (1956) joined StoneFund as a managing partner in 2001, and invests in high-tech companies in their early and venture stage.
On behalf of StoneFund he holds several board seats in mainly ICT companies.
At the University of Leuven Patrick Lemmens obtained in 1980 a master's degree in Engineering and a master's degree in Business Economics in 1982.
Patrick started his career as an design engineer at LAG manufacturing where he developped a new aerodynamic coach with a polyester body.
He subsequently joined Fortis Bank as an account manager for large industrial accounts.
Later he joined the Vlaamse Investerings Vennootschap, the private equity fund of the Fortis Group.
In 1988 he co-founded General Control Applications, an Antwerp based software company developping stearing system software on DLC for the petrochemical industry.
In 1992 GCA was sold to Bellt, a Dutch software company active in the system software for the Food Industry.
During the following period Patrick grew the family owned real estate company in to a larger profitable organisation.
At the same time he was board member and financial counselor of De Televisiefabriek, a Belgian Television Production Company.
Patrick has managed / Is managing the investments in BAI, Dataexchanger, Ecensity, IOS, Topcom and ORS.
