Ragib Ali is the founder of Moulvibazar Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Ali Kalyan (Welfare) Trust, Jalalabad Ragib Rabeya Medical College & Hospital, Ragib Rabeya Degree College, Haji Rashid Ali High School, Ragib Rabeya High School.
He currently holds the positions of Chairman & Managing Director at Rajnagar Tea Co. Ltd., Sylhet Tea Co. Ltd., Star Tea Estate Ltd., Karnafuli Tea Co. Ltd., Mr. Ali Securities Ltd., The Daily Sylheter Dak, Union Syndicate Ltd., Managing Director at Lungla (Sylhet) Tea Co. Ltd., and Director at International Publications Ltd.
He is also a member of Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd.
In the past, he served as Chairman at North South University and The University of Asia Pacific, Vice Chairman at Southeast Bank Plc and Bangladesh General Insurance Co. Plc, and Chairman at Leading University.
He also held the position of Chairman at Rabeya Banu General Hospital and President at Rabeya High School & College.
