EPG (Engineered nanoProducts Germany) AG provides coating, binding materials and surface technology solutions. It produces nano-chemical coating of metal surfaces on the basis of Sol-Gel technology and the development of novel forms of composite materials for the oil and gas industries. The company was founded by Helmut Schmidt in 2003 and is headquartered in Griesheim, Germany.

QVentures Management GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the family wealth management firm Harald Quandt Holding (HQH), which holds the assets of the descendants of the late Harald Quandt and provides asset management services for third parties. HQH develops global portfolio strategies specialized in alternative asset classes, particularly private equity and hedge funds in Europe, the United States and Asia, as well as real estate in Europe and the US. Located in Bad Homburg, Hesse, in western-central Germany, QVentures was initially established in 2000 as the venture capital arm of HGH. In 2010, QVentures discontined their venture capital activity.
