He is a Director of the Yawkey Trust, the Boston Globe, and Citizens Bank of MA.
Dr. Hammond worked at Cape Cod Hospital and founded Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1988.
He received a degree Harvard University and an MA degree in the Study of Religion from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in 1982.
