Mr. Schmidt joined Chinook in 2005, Previously, he was a Vice President and Regional Director with Columbia Management Company, a Portland-based investment firm that was acquired by Bank of America.
Prior to his tenure at Columbia, he served as an Associate Product Manager for IDS/American Express Financial Advisors in Minneapolis, MN.
Mr. Schmidt earned a BS in Agriculture and Resource Economics from Oregon State University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Originally from Pendleton, Oregon, he returned to Portland in 1990 with his wife and daughters.
