Robert L. Hannon

Mr. Hannon was recently appointed Assistant Secretary for Regional Development at the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development after serving multiple terms as the Executive Director of Economic Development for Baltimore County.
As head of DBED's Division, Mr. Hannon is responsible for in-state business development and retention, including programs that improve the workforce quality and productivity for new and existing Maryland businesses.
During his distinguished career in public service, Mr. Hannon has successfully attracted and retained several major corporate operations to the mid-Atlantic area, including Toyota Financial Services, MBNA, T.
Rowe Price, Sweethart Products and Bethlehmen Steel.
Mr. Hannon has also served as Executive Vice President of The Baltimore Development Corporation and as Senior Vice President of MacKensie and Associates, a mid-Atlantic based real estate development corporation.
