Robert M. Butcher

Prior to joining HSBC Bank USA (formerly Marine Midland Bank) in September 1988, Mr. Butcher headed Citicorp’s term debt funding and capital programs and earlier served as a director of its Corporate Finance Department, specializing private debt placements and project financing.
Previously, he worked on IPOs at W.E.
Hutton & Co. and on accounting systems at Touche, Ross & Co. Mr. Butcher received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.
He serves on several boards and advisory committees for educational and community institutions in New York State.
