Washington is Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Legal Counsel at Salient Partners LP.
Before joining Salient Partners, he served as Managing Director of Compliance Operations at Capital Forensics Consulting, Inc. From May of 2000 to February 2002, Mr. Washington served as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of American General's Life Division.
Mr. Washington began his legal and regulatory compliance career 11 years earlier at Lincoln National Corporation where he served as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Lincoln National Life, as broker-dealer, investment adviser and investment company in-house legal counsel in the Law Department of Lincoln National Corporation, as Director of Compliance at Lincoln National Investment Management Company, and as Senior Compliance Consultant in the Internal Audit Department.
He is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Indiana Bar and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Washington has a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a law degree from the University Of Louisville School Of Law.
