Voice In Sport (VIS) is a digital sport platform for female athletes aged 13-22. The private company is based in Brooklyn, NY. It is the first independent, community-based platform that merges content, mentorship, and advocacy to bring visibility to female athletes and elevate their voice. The platform extends beyond its website and includes Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat. The Voice In Sport podcast, launched in May 2020, explores the journey of female athletes by sharing untold stories on topics like mental health, body image, sexual orientation, and female-specific sports science and nutrition. VIS also has a non-profit organization called the VoiceInSport Foundation, which is a 501c3 on a mission to close the gap for girls and women in sport through innovative sport science research, educational content, and an advocacy program for high school and college women athletes called the VIS Advocate Program. VIS was founded by Stefanie Strack in 2020 and is uniquely positioned to provide young female athletes with a community where they can access the tools they need to navigate their teen and collegiate years as an athlete.
