Stephen Jordan

Stephen Jordan (New York) joined KKR in 2014.
He oversees the firm’s global tax operations, including fund and investment structuring across the firm’s private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and credit platforms.
He also oversees the tax aspects of the firm’s own investments, its global management companies, and its publicly-traded entity.
Prior to joining KKR, he was a tax partner in the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he represented a number of sponsors and fund investors across various asset classes.
He received a J.D., cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law and an LL.M.
in taxation from New York University School of Law.
