Stuart R. Brunet

With more than 15 years of securities industry experience behind him, Stu Brunet brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as president of Marketocracy Capital Management, the registered investment adviser for Marketocracyís Masters 100 Fund and Technology Plus Fund.
Before joining the Marketocracy team, Stu spent six years at Preferred Capital Markets in San Francisco, where he worked as a sales trader and successfully grew the firm's institutional customer base and commission production.
While at Preferred Capital, Stu assumed the role of Director of Agency Execution Services, where he continued to develop the firm's burgeoning agency trading business.
He later moved to the principal trading desk of the firm's capital markets group.
Earlier in his career, Stu also held positions at Morgan-Walke Associates and Fidelity Investments.
Stu and his wife live in Marin County, California.
