Mr. Sylvester T.
Malapas, CFA MBA, is a Senior Fundamental Analyst & Associate Portfolio Manager at Strategic Global Advisors LLC.
He joined the firm in 2016 and is a Senior Fundamental Analyst and Associate Portfolio Manager.
His responsibilities include performing fundamental reviews of new ideas generated by the quantitative model and portfolio management.
In his previous role, Mr. Malapas was a Credit Analyst at Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services in San Francisco where he focused on high yield credits within the software and services technology sector.
Prior to that position, he spent four years at Merrill Lynch Bank of America where he supported the trading desk and compliance officer.
Mr. Malapas earned his BA in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, and MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University.
He is a CFA charter holder and is a Member of the CFA Society of Orange County.
