Mr. Thomas Castri is Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Thalìa SA. Thomas joined Thalìa in 2004 as the Analyst and Portfolio Manager responsible for Fixed Income and Convertible Arbitrage, eventually taking over the Global Macro strategy as well.
In January 2012 he was appointed Deputy CIO to back-up Thalìa’s CIO on a number of investment related activities including the management of several Multi-Strategy portfolios, overseeing the formal investment process and to liaise with existing and prospective investors during update and outlook presentations.
Prior to joining Thalìa he had worked as trader for a Hedge Fund start up in London, as well as an Equity Options market-maker in Milan.
Prior to this, he was involved structuring derivatives on Fund of Hedge Fund portfolios.
Thomas holds a BEng and MSc in Chemical Engineering as well as a MSc in Finance from the ICMA Centre at Reading University.
