Mr. Tom Wilker is a Principal at The Carlyle Group LP .
Prior to joining Carlyle Group, Mr. Wilker was both a Technical Excellence Manager and Business Area Manager for EP Energy (formerly El Paso).
Prior to his role with EP Energy, he was a Corporate Exploration Coordinator with Burlington Resources, and began his career there as a geoscientist.
He brings to Carlyle more than 18 years of experience in the oil industry and nearly a decade dedicated to the technical review of both development and exploration opportunities.
Mr. Wilker holds a M.S.
degree in Geology from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a B.S.
degree from California Lutheran University in geology with minors in business and mathematics.
