He has more than 22 years of investment experience and is a Portfolio Manager-Senior Equity Analyst for the Channing Small and SMID-Value Products.
Prior to joining Channing Capital Management, LLC, Mr. Hipple served as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Equity Analyst covering Technology, and Consumer Discretionary for growth strategies at Lord Abbett & Company and was a portfolio manager for Micro-Cap Growth.
Before that, he served as a Senior Research Analyst at Piper Jaffray Asset Management and Thrivent Investment Management, Inc. covering Technology, Financials, and Consumer Discretionary sectors.
Mr. Hipple received a B.A.
in Business from the University of Northern Iowa, and Master’s in Business Administration from Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa.
He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
