Mr. Hitschler is responsible for the finance and metals and mining sectors, contributing industry insight and stock recommendations for all of the firm's domestic equity products.
Prior to founding the Firm in 1986, he was with Provident Capital Management, Inc. (1973-1986) and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of that company for nine years.
He earned an A.B.
in Sociology from Princeton.
As one of the pioneers of modern value investing, he has been the subject of numerous articles in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Pensions and Investments, and Business Week.
