Grant Raney is executive vice president of network operations for Windstream.
Raney oversees Windstream's Operations and Network Support organizations.
These organizations include field operations, voice and data network operations centers, and certain call center operations, including assignment, dispatch, repair and broadband technical support.
Raney has worked in the telecommunications industry for more than 30 years.
He previously served as southwest region president for Windstream.
Prior to joining the company in July 2006, Raney served as VALOR Telecom's chief operating officer.
While at VALOR, Raney also served in senior leadership positions for operations, sales and marketing and engineering.
Prior to joining VALOR in 2000, Raney served as division vice president at Spectra Communications Group, a partnership of CenturyTel, Inc. He began his telecommunications career at CenturyTel in 1979.
