Mr. Akers earned a degree in Business Finance with a Minor in German from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.
He has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation through the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
