Zeljka Matutinovic

An expert in electrical engineering, Dr. Matutinovic leads JVP’s initiatives and investments in the semiconductor, carrier equipment and emerging technology sectors.
She has taken an active leadership position on the boards of Adimos, Cystal IS, Kovio, Mahi Networks and Quarry Technologies.
She works closely with their executive teams to guide their steady growth and long-term revenue-generating strategies.
Previously, Dr. Matutinovic served as Managing Director at International Real Returns LLC (IRR), a $600 million broad-based fund.
While in this position, she managed IRR’s VC fund-of-funds and direct VC investments.
Dr. Matutinovic also worked in the Investment Banking/Technology Group at Credit Suisse First Boston and previously as a consultant at McKinsey & Company working primarily with semiconductor and telecommunication companies.
A former research and teaching assistant at Princeton University and Junior Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering at the University of Zagreb, she combines the due diligence of an academic with the business acumen of a polished venture capitalist.
Dr. Matutinovic holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from both Princeton University and the University of Zagreb, where she also received her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
