Rachmat Gobel

Rachmat Gobel is the founder of the Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia, which was founded in 2011.
He is currently the Chairman of Masyarakat Energi Terbarukan Indonesia since 2012, Chairman-Supervisory Board of Matsushita Gobel Foundation since 2004, Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Alumni From Japan since 2007, Chairman of Yayasan Melati Sakura since 2007, President Director of PT Gobel International since 1994, President Director of PT Gobel Dharma Nusantara since 2003, President Commissioner of PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia since 1992, Independent Commissioner of PT Rukun Raharja Tbk since 2015, Member of the Indonesian Red Cross Society since 2009, and Commissioner of PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia since 1989.
He has also founded several companies including PT Panasonic Electric Works Gobel Manufacturing Indonesia, PT Panasonic Healthcare Indonesia, PT Panasonic Gobel Energy Indonesia, PT Panasonic Electric Works Gobel Sales Indonesia, PT Nusantara Parkerizing, PT Parker Metal Treatment Indonesia, and Perhimpunan Persahabatan Indonesia Jepang.
Mr. Gobel has held former positions as Vice Chairman of the Association of Indonesia Employers, Chairman of the Federation of Electronic & Telematics Industries Associations from 2010 to 2014, Chairman of the Gobel Group of Cos., Non-Executive Director of Churchill Mining Plc from 2011 to 2014, Commissioner of PT Indosat Tbk from 2008 to 2015, Commissioner of PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources & Technology Tbk from 2004 to 2014, Commissioner of PT Rukun Raharja Tbk in 2014, President Commissioner of PT Visi Media Asia Tbk from 2012 to 2014, Commissioner of Indonesia Ministry of Trade from 2014 to 2015, and Commissioner of PT Smart Corp.
from 2004 to 2014.
Mr. Gobel obtained his undergraduate degree from Chuo University in 1987.
