Murray-Jones is an Associate within the European technology, media and telecommunications investment banking team at Piper Jaffray Ltd.
Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, he was a Senior Analyst with Credit Suisse's European technology investment banking team in London and was involved in a variety of assignments across the internet, software & services and communications technology sectors.
Notable assignments include capital raisings for Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent, advising on the sale of online travel company Venere to Expedia and carrying out strategic reviews for some of Europe's leading Internet companies.
Previously, Mr. Murray-Jones worked in Ernst & Young's private equity transactions department in London, where he carried out financial and commercial due diligence on over a dozen buy-side and sell-side assignments, including CCMP's acquisition of BOC Edwards, the sale of Somerfield Plc to Morrison Supermarkets and the sale of GDT Technologies to Bridgepoint.
Mr. Murray-Jones graduated with First Class honours in Economics at University College, London.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
