Allison Taylor

Allison Taylor is a visionary in the alternative asset management industry and one of Canada’s most powerful businesswomen.
As Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder, and Portfolio Manager of Invico Capital Corporation, she has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and is actively involved in the assessment of investments, ongoing regulatory compliance, and accounting on behalf of the firm’s managed investment offerings.
Before founding Invico, Allison worked in pension consulting at Mercer Management and Towers Perrin before transitioning to investment banking and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at RBC Dominion Securities.
She most recently worked on facilitating M&A at Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance, where she met fellow co-founder Jason Brooks, and the two first established the idea for Invico.
In 2023, Allison was named CEO of the Year and Invico was named the Alternative Investment Solutions Provider of the Year by Wealth Professional Canada.
She was also recognized by the Women’s Executive Network™ (WXN) as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100, her second such accolade after also being named to the Top 100 in 2019.
Allison received the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business’ most prestigious alum award, the Management Alumni Excellence Award, alongside co-founder Jason Brooks in 2022 and was the proud recipient of the Female Executive of the Year award at the 2019 Wealth Professional Women in Wealth Management Awards.
Allison is a member of the Investment Committee at the University of Calgary and the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) Exempt Market Dealer Advisory Committee (EMDAC).
