Ana Carolina Carvalho

Ms. Ana Carolina Carvalho is a Co-Chief Executive Officer at Turim 21 Investimentos Ltda.
She is on the Board of Directors at Synapse Ventures II LP and Triunfo Participações e Investimentos SA. She joined Turim in 2006 and is Chief Operating Officer and in 2024, she became Co-Chief Executive Officer.
She began her career as an Investment Analyst and migrated to Controller in 2008.
As the Controller, she was responsible for producing analytical reports and for consolidating client positions.
In 2013, she became the COO and took on the role of Head of the Operations division.
Her responsibilities include the settlement of all operations as well as leading the IT team.
Since then, she has supervised the internal development of company-wide systems & software, and has revamped the firm’s technological infrastructure.
Ms. Carvalho is now also responsible for the Risk and Compliance divisions, whose duties include monitoring all processes and client portfolios, and making sure that every decision is unbiased and in line with the market’s best practices.
She holds an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, and has completed courses in Risk Management for Corporate Leaders and Leading Professional Service Firms from Harvard Business School, as well as executive courses in Essential IT for Non-IT Executives, Developing and Managing a Successful Technology and Product Strategy and Implementing Improvement Strategies: Dynamic Work Design from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Ms. Carvalho holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from IBMEC-RJ.
