Shafter is a Portfolio Manager at Community Capital Management, Inc.
Prior to joining Community Capital Management, Mr. Shafter was a product manager for all Longfellow products and also served on the merger arbitrage portfolio management team.
Before joining Longfellow, he worked in institutional fixed income sales at SunTrust Capital Markets.
He began his investment career in 1988.
He is an appointed member of the Hingham Scholarship Investment Committee, serves as a committee member for Northwestern University's Leadership Council in Boston.
Mr. Shafter holds a B.A.
in Economics from Hobart College and completed the Executive MBA Program from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
He has earned the CTP designation which is administered by the Association of Financial Professionals.
He holds his FINRA Licenses: Series 7 & 63.
