Prior to joining GrandBanks Capital, Mr. Merget was a Senior Investment Banking Analyst at BMO Capital Markets, where he worked with media and technology companies.
Prior to BMO Capital Markets, he was an Investment Banking Analyst with SVB Alliant, a leading technology advisory firm and a subsidiary of SVB Financial Group.
His transaction experience includes: the acquisition of Kiwiplan by Illinois Toolworks, the acquisition of Datawire by First Data, the acquisition of Revivio by Symantec, the divestiture of Alphasem AG from Dover Corp.
and subsequent acquisition by Kulicke & Soffa, and the acquisition of Apogee Photonics by Cyoptics.
Mr. Merget earned a Bachelor’s degree in business management, with concentrations in finance and economics, from Babson College.
