Anne Emson

Ms. Anne Emson is Head of Communications at Eurosif.
In her role, she coordinates membership projects, including annual fees, sponsorship opportunities and Member Affiliate communications.
She also manages Eurosif’s event partnerships and oversees various programmes, such as Sector and Theme Reports and collaborations with the National SIFs.
Ms. Emson studied at Tulane University in New Orleans and spent 2 years working with non-profit associations at SmithBucklin in Washington, DC.
She obtained her master’s degree in International Affairs, Conflict Resolution and Civil Society Development from a joint programme with the American University of Paris and L’Institut Catholique de Paris.
Her master’s thesis was written on the impact of social entrepreneurship on the Senegalese economy, for which she spent a summer living outside Dakar.
She has several years of experience working in both the public and private sectors in the U.S.
and France, at organisations such as Salans Law Firm and Ashoka.
She also runs her own socially-conscious small business in Paris.
She came to Eurosif in March 2010.
