Anuwar bin Idris

Mr. Anuwar bin Idris is Head-Marketing & Business Development at Affin Fund Management Bhd.
He started his career with Arab Malaysian Finance Bhd as a CreditOfficer in 1983 and joined Institut Teknologi MARA in 1989 as a finance lecturer for 4 years.
He joined the private sector in 1993 and worked with Island & Peninsular Berhad as a Business Development executive before moving on to become a Company Dealers' Representative (Institutional Sales) in stock-broking companies until 1998 and as a remisier until 2001.
He worked with an asset management company as an Assistant Manager in the Portfolio Management Department before joining Affin Fund Management in 2002 and was transferred to Affin Trust Management Berhad, a subsidiary of Affin Fund Management carrying out business development responsibilities for the unit trust business.
Subsequently, he was appointed as the Head of Marketing in 2003, and in 2005, he was transferred back to Affin Fund Management as Head of Investment.
He holds a diploma in Investment Analysis from Institut Teknologi Mara, a degree in Business Administration Finance (Cum Laude) and an MBA from the University of Miami, USA. He is a holder of a Capital Markets Services Representative's License and has more than 18 years working experience in capital markets.
