Arnold H. Weiss

Mr. Weiss is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Emerging Markets Partnership.
Mr. Weiss served in the U.S.
Treasury as Counsel to the Office of International Finance, with emphasis on United States membership in the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and GATT from 1952-1960.
After participating in the drafting of the Charter of the Inter-American Development Bank, Mr. Weiss became its first staff member in 1960 and served over 17 years as Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel.
From 1977-1990, he was a senior partner at the Washington law firm of Arent, Fox.
He then became a consultant to the International Finance Corporation and to INTELSAT.
He joined Emerging Markets Partnership at its inception in 1992.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1951 and its Law School in 1952.
Mr. Weiss is a decorated veteran of U.S.
military service in World War II.
