Arun Gowda

Prior to joining Eventi in the fall of 2005, Mr. Gowda was Executive Director, UBS Investment Bank in London and New York leading the origination, distribution and coverage of alternative investments managers.
Over a 5 year period, he grew the structured products investments in hedge funds to $14 billion across a range of thirty top tier groups.
Mr. Gowda has also been involved in the business development and placement of assets for several key hedge funds groups including a Goldman Sachs spinout, and Credit Suisse.
His efforts resulted in $200 million in investments in these funds.
He served in a variety of sales and structuring roles in the finance industry with a specific focus on hedge funds, including Vice President, Equity Derivatives, Morgan Stanley and Associate, Quantitative Strategies, Salomon Brothers.
Prior to working in finance, he was a software engineer for Hewlett Packard in Silicon Valley, specializing in the development of networking solutions.
During that time he completed key projects with AT&T and completed graduate computer engineering classes at Stanford University.
Mr. Gowda holds a BE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
He currently sits on the board of Ventana Clinical and Nicogen, early stage life sciences companies.
