Bill Barnes

Mr. Bill Barnes is Co-Founder & Senior Managing Director at Emerging Energy & Environment LLC.
He co-founded the firm in 2009.
He has extensive years of international experience and has lived and worked in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
Before EEE, he was the Vice President of Private Equity for Julius Baer Investment Management in New York City.
Prior to Julius Baer, he was at Dell for 10 years and established Dell in Asia in the early 1990s.
He worked extensively in China, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, and smaller markets.
He helped establish Dell's first manufacturing facility in Asia in Penang.
Later at Dell, he organized the first meeting of the Global Enterprise Program in London.
The Global Enterprise Program was a new international marketing initiative targeting Dell's largest multinational clients representing over $5 Billion in revenue.
He traveled to Japan, Germany, France, and other countries introducing the Global Marketing Programs to regional offices.
In fiscal year 2001 he earned the award of Employee of the Year in the Global Enterprise Program.
He began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank on Wall Street as an Electronic Data Processing auditor and was trained in auditing principals and system design.
Mr. Barnes holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, specializing in Finance and Corporate Strategy, and a BS from Eastern New Mexico University with a major in Computer Science, Math and Psychology.
