Bill Lu

Dr. Bill Lu is President at Ortus Capital Management Ltd.
Prior to Ortus, he was Managing Director in charge of hedge fund investment at China Investment Corporation from 2009 based in Beijing.
From 2004 to 2009, he was Quantitative Portfolio Manager, and subsequently Head of China Operations at Tudor Investment Corporation based in Connecticut.
Prior to Tudor, he had various roles including Quantitative Researcher at Quantitative Financial Strategies, Inc and Assistant Professor of Finance at the Ross School of Business of the University of Michigan.
He received his BA in International Finance from Fudan University (Shanghai, China), his MA in Economics from Indiana University and his PhD in Economics from Yale University.
