Mr. Newman joined Ares in October 2011 in the Private Debt Group and serves as an Analyst.
Prior to joining Ares, Mr. Newman was an Investment Banking Analyst at Miller Buckfire & Co., where he executed a number of merger and acquisition, financing and restructuring transactions.
Mr. Newman received a BSBA in Accounting and Finance, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where he was also a member of the varsity football team.
