The firm was founded in 2002 and formerly known as CI Private Wealth LLC. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of Corient Partners LLC, ultimately owned by CI Financial Corp. (TSX: CIX) in Canada. Corient provides wealth management services to individuals, families, pension plans, trusts, endowments, other institutional clients and private funds managed through Corient IA LLC, a separate but related adviser established in March of 2023.

RegentAtlantic Capital LLC (RegentAtlantic) is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey. The firm was founded in 1997 when EB Advisory Corp. (formed in 1982) and Individual Asset Planning (formed in 1983) joined to form Bugen, Stuart, Korn, & Cordaro, Inc. They changed their name to RegentAtlantic Capital in 2001. In 2021, the firm became a majority-owned subsidiary of CI Private Wealth LLC, which is majority-owned subsidiary of CI Financial Corp. (TSX: CIX; NYSE: CIXX) in Canada. RegentAtlantic offers global wealth management and asset management advisory services to individual and institutional clients.
