Carl Hagen

Mr. Carl Hagen is a Director of Investment & Risk Technology at Blue Rock Advisors LLC.
As part of the firm's manager research, evaluation, and due diligence efforts, he manages the development of information systems used to support investment decision-making and risk management.
Prior to joining Blue Rock, Mr. Hagen worked at Allianz Investment Management as a Derivatives Analyst and Software Developer.
There he created tools for dynamically managing the embedded market exposures in variable and fixed indexed annuities.
He also developed a real-time derivative trading platform and co-developed an in-house position and order management system.
He began his career in 2007 as an actuarial intern with Allianz Life.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire earning a B.S.
in Communication and a minor in Mathematics and Finance.
In 2011, he earned his Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
